At Kaleide every child has the chance of deciding every day what, when, how and with whom they want to learn. There is a weekly offer of activities which are optional for the most part (in specific cases, the pedagogical team may deem it positive for a child or a group of children to devote time to a particular subject or skill).
Children may play their own games, take part in organised games, or come to workshops –and also impart them. They can can work on individual and collective projects, or collaborate in projects suggested by facilitators. Every month there are outings to see exhibitions, museums or visit the local library. All these activities are open to the children's ideas and proposals, and families are welcome to all our outings.
